Si V2.2.1 Release for all Si Expression, Impact & Performer consoles Now Available! =================================================================================== November 2025 Soundcraft is pleased to announce another software update for the Si console range. The software V2.2.1 for all Si Expression, Impact and Performer consoles is now available from the Soundcraft website. Version 2.2.1 is a feature and bug-fix release incorporating a substantial number of improvements to various aspects of the functionality, including iPad control, patching and snapshot isolation. In order to ensure maximum stability and usability, we recommend that this software be installed on all Si consoles. New Features/Improvements ========================= * Mute Group masters can now be controlled remotely from the ViSi Remote iPad app (requires ViSi Remote V3.6.2 or later, available from the App Store). * Local Mic inputs can now be patched to Stereo input channels on all Si mixer models. (Previously only analogue line and digital inputs could be. This allows for example the combi-XLRs on Si Impact to be used for stereo inputs). * Isolating an individual input channel now also isolates the Mic gain & 48V, and also the Input patch and Direct out patch. * Isolating an individual bus channel now also isolates the output patch. This was previously only possible using the Show menu global isolation settings. * The global (Show menu) isolation category ‘Mic Gain’ has been re-labelled ‘Mic Gain/Trim’ to reflect that it isolates both Gain and Trim parameters. * ViSi Remote app now shows orange or green Faderglow colour for pre/post-fader bus sends as well as Mix bus masters (requires ViSi Remote V3.6.1 or later) * Stagebox patching: Patching GUI now shows MSB32 and Compact Stagebox card ID letters & numbers matching the actual Stagebox connector labelling. i.e.: Mic A1-16 and C1-16 instead of Mic A1-16 and C17-32. Bug Fixes ========= * Fixed: Patching GUI still showed MADI card even after removal of card and doing Reset Config. * Fixed: Monitor/Solo menu page stopped working properly after switching on SIP mode and scrolling down. * Fixed: Labels for L&R; MONO Master and Left & Right Matrix contributions were not updated in the GUI after editing them. * Fixed: Knob bubble showed the label LEFT when selecting the right-hand Matrix contribution fader. * Fixed: HiQnet serial number was identical for all Si consoles (sometimes caused problems if multiple Si consoles were connected to a large HiQnet network). Offline Editor ============== An updated version of the Si Offline Editor is also available incorporating the above improvements, allowing pre-programming of Show files. Show compatibility ================== There are no known Show compatibility issues with this release. The functionality of V2.1.6A is identical to the V2.1.6 release described below, and this package is only re-released for Performer 1, 2 & 3 consoles. Si Impact and Expression consoles continue to use the original 2.1.6 package - there is no 2.1.6A package necessary for these products. The updated 2.1.6A package can be installed on any Si Performer mixers, including those with the original Yotta mainboard. There is no 2.1.6A package required for the Performer offline editor software. V2.1.build 6 Hotfix (Dec 2024) Bug Fixes * Isolate settings in Show menu are now recalled correctly after a power cycle * 'ISO Protects on Show Load' now keeps last setting after a power cycle (previously was always set to 'Enabled') * Fixed: Show name could get replaced by the name of another Show after loading different Shows V2.1 build 5 (Sept 2023) Features & Improvements * New Isolate Protects on Show Load switch added to allow control over isolation behaviour. * Input Patch select buttons now greyed out when they are being used on another input channel. * Output patching improved by removing dialog which forced you to un-patch existing before repatching a connector . * Copy-Paste wizard improved with clearer dialog messaging. Bug Fixes * Bus Send to right channel of stereo bus ignored local channel pre/post mode control (Could lead to right side of stereo bus being post-fade when send has been set to pre-fade). * Mute Group Master buttons and some Lexicon FX parameters and were not recalled after restarting the console * Stagebox audio connection dropped out momentarily at regular intervals (30 -50 mins). * When ‘Auto’ Solo mode and "Solo Auto cancel" mode are both selected, soloed input channel was working as AFL mode instead of PFL mode after changing from one solo to another. * Isolation of Bus out patches did not protect patch from being stolen by another Bus master during a snapshot recall. * Isolation wrongly protected parameters during Show load: some parameters were isolated against Show load and some isolated against snapshot recall. (this has been fixed by reworking the isolation functionality as described in the New Features section). * Channel isolation states did not get recalled correctly on show load. (this has been fixed by reworking the isolation functionality as described in the New Features section). * Matrix Contribution fader for Mix LEFT was wrongly labelled "L&R". * Matrix Solo right channel did not pass audio to Monitor outs. * The MTX RIGHT Output Channel had no audio until MTX fader was moved, after the MTX mode had been changed from STEREO to MONO or Vice versa. Offline Editor specific bug fixes * Unable to use mouse to select Drop-down items, if required item was above current selected item in list. * Offline Editor software inserts not able to unassign due to jumping of drop-down selection list. This also affected any other setting where a list was used and also affected the console if you tried to use the touchscreen rather than knob and push switch to select parameters. * Si Offline application is now signed by Harman Professional for compatibility with Windows 10 onwards.
