Signal Generator

Double click on the Sig Gen button to open the Signal Generator control sub-panel.

The signal generator can be used to test device response to specific test signals. The user can configure specific test signals and insert them into the amplifier in a testing scenario. The user can select the signal type, level, frequency and enable/disable the test signal.

Signal Type

The signal generator contains six (6) basic types of test signals that are user selectable:

• White Noise

• Pink Noise

• Sinewave

• Bursted White Noise

• Bursted Pink Noise

• Bursted Sinewave

Frequency

The signal generator frequency can be set for sinewave generation. This parameter is not used if signal type is other than Sinewave or Bursted Sinewave.

Test Signal Level

The test signal level can be adjusted by the using the signal level slider control. Move the control up and down to the desired level.
