Each amplifier has certain information programmed into memory including model name, serial number and date code of the amplifier.
This field displays the amplifier model name.
This field displays the amplifier serial number.
This field displays the amplifier manufacture date.
This field displays the version of the firmware currently installed.
Each amplifier includes two labels that you may edit for your own use. To edit these labels, simply type in the text areas. Use these labels to describe the channels of your amplifier. These names will be shown within the individual processing blocks.
You can set the maximum attenuation from 0 dB to –100 dB. This feature allows you to set a limit on the attenuators. Once set, attenuation cannot be adjusted beyond this level.
Note: The attenuator setting must be below the attenuator limit that you are trying to set. For example, if the attenuator is set at –3 dB, you cannot set the attenuator limit below –3 dB unless you decrease the attenuator level.
This control allows you to set how the front panel will function. It can be set to normal, blackout, or screen saver mode. In blackout mode all of the indicators on the front of the amplifer will turn off, until you press a front-panel button or turn an encoder. This feature turns off the LCD backlight and all front panel LEDs except for the fault LEDs and power-switch green LED. Screen saver mode allows one to load a custom image that is displayed after five seconds. After one of these modes is enabled, an encoder press/turn will "reactivate" the display. If no button is pressed/turned for over 5 seconds, the display will return to blackout mode.
