The security page allows you to configure access control quickly and easily using the menu tree. If you modify the top item in the menu section, all of the submenus follow; you can also modify the settings of a submenu directly in the list. The front panel will either show something as read only or N/A if it is not readable to make it easier for troubleshooting by having the menus always available.
Sample rate can only be changed through the software and not through the front panel.
If one locks the front panel display entirely it is not possible to use the USB port as the front panel controls are completely locked. If one wants to allow the USB port but not any allow any other controls, all of the menus must be disabled using the menu tree.
These settings are also different than a locked preset file such as a VerTec Version 5 tuning file.
