The LCD Control Screen and its controls let you configure the amplifier and access many features that before were available only through a remote computer. Also, you can recall, save to a file, and load configuration presets via the front panel. (Not all parameters can be adjusted with the LCD Control Screen.)
Using Front Panel Security these screens can also be secured to allow no access, read only access, or full access.
Here’s how to access the various menus and settings in the LCD control screen:
Starting from the Attenuation screen, press Menu/Exit to go to the Menu List screen.
Press Next, spin the encoder wheel, or touch+drag on the screen to go to the next item in the menu.
Press Prev, spin the encoder wheel, or touch+drag on the screen to go to the previous item in the menu.
Turn or press the Encoder knob to change the value of a displayed parameter.
When you see a menu screen, push the knob once or tap the menu on-screen to see the items in that menu.
Press Menu/Exit to leave the menu and return to the previous screen at any time. Press Menu/Exit multiple times to back up all the way to the default display screen.
When a USB Flash Drive is inserted into the front panel USB port, the menu will automatically change to the USB menu.
Shortcuts:
--To Mute all channels from the default display screen, simply press and hold the encoder with no channels selected. After 4 seconds all channels will mute.
--To return to the default display screen from any menu, press and hold down the menu/exit button. After 4 seconds, the display will return to the default display view.
Some menu items require confirmation: after you request a change, the display might say “Press and hold.” To confirm a change, press and hold the Encoder knob. If you don’t want the change to occur during a confirmation, turn the knob or wait five seconds. The entire front panel or just selected screens can be locked out or set to read only status using System Architect software. Locked-out screens will either say “Lockout” or the individual parameter will say “N/A”. If a change is attempted the screen will say “Changes Disabled”.
Starting from any Menu screen, press the Encoder knob or tap the menu on the display to go to the first selection in the Menu. You can loop through a menu’s selections using the Next and Prev buttons. Pressing and holding the Menu/Exit button returns you to the Attenuation screen which you see on power-up.
