VT4889ADP-CN

Overview:

The VT4889ADP is a versatile CobraNet^® compatible, powered lightweight 3-Way Line Array Element housing two 15” woofers, four 8” midrange radiators, and three high frequency compression drivers that combine to provide a high power-to-weight ratio. JBL DrivePack^® DP-3 power and DSP electronics package, developed in cooperation with Crown and dbx, includes patented high efficiency Class-I power amplifier technology and onboard digital signal processing that communicates readiness and operational status to the user, and monitors fault detection of components and electronics. The VT4889ADP combines time-tested acoustical physics with JBL’s innovative transducer research and design capabilities in a premium-grade integrated audio system package.  The VT4889ADP is designed to deliver high-quality reinforcement of music and speech in a variety of applications including concert audio and corporate A/V presentations of all types for both portable users and fixed venue installations. The VT4889ADP-CN is an Ideal companion to VT4880A or VT4880ADP-CN full-size sub-woofer systems.  

VT4889ADP-CN differs from the VT4889ADP-AN in that it is fitted with the optional CN (CobraNet^® audio) network input module. More information concerning CobraNet may be found at www.peakaudio.com

The VT4889ADP-CN module includes all of the features of the VT4889ADP-AN as well as integrating CobraNet transport in the same single Ethernet connection. Signal routing is easily controlled via System Architect software. The VT4889ADP-CN also provides two analog audio inputs that can be configured as a redundant signal or for page-over applications. This feature saves audio bandwidth within the CobraNet^® network by providing local signal processing of the input signal at the DrivePack^®.

• DPCN optional network input module provides CobraNet^® digital audio transport, standard 100Mb Ethernet networking in the same single CAT5/RJ45 cable connection. Two XLR connectors for analog audio input and loop-thru and RJ45 Primary/Secondary connectors for remote control and monitoring with Ethernet connectivity, and compatibility with Harman Professional’s HiQnet System Architect technology.
• Alt Preset Enable control located on the module front panel allows manual alternate preset selection.
• Integrated JBL DrivePack^® DP-3 electronics package delivers superb audio quality, comprehensive digital signal processing and a modular input bay that accepts the standard analog, or optional digital audio networked input module.
• World-wide AC line voltages are automatically selected for 50 or 60 Hz operation.
• For use in stand-alone arrays or in combination with other VerTec system modules.
