The VT4882DP-CN is a CobraNet® compatible self-powered, mid-size, centrally vented subwoofer enclosure housing two long extension 15" woofers and a JBL DrivePack® DP3 fully integrated power and DSP electronics package. The VT4882DP-CN is designed to deliver high quality sound reinforcement of sub-low frequencies for live music and a variety of other applications. Typical uses include concert audio and multimedia presentations of all types. The VT4882DP-CN is an Ideal companion to VT4888 or VT4888DP-CN mid-size full-range systems.
Designed in cooperation with Harman Professional development partner Crown International, the DP3 features Crown's patented high efficiency Class-I power amplifier technology and "smart" inboard DSP functionality that automatically performs self-test functions and communicates readiness and operational status of components and electronics.
VT4882DP-CN differs from the VT4882DP-AN in that it is fitted with the optional CN (CobraNet® audio) network input module. More information concerning CobraNet may be found at www.peakaudio.com.
The VT4882DP-CN module includes all of the features of the VT4882DP-AN as well as integrating CobraNet transport in the same single Ethernet connection. Signal routing is easily controlled via System Architect software. The VT4882DP-CN also provides two analog audio inputs that can be configured as a redundant signal or for page-over applications. This feature saves audio bandwidth within the CobraNet network by providing local signal processing of the input signal at the DrivePack®.
