The VT4887ADP-CN is a CobraNet® compatible compact self-powered line array element fitted with two 8” woofers, four 4” midrange radiators and two high frequency compression drivers. It is equipped with a JBL DrivePack® DP-2 fully integrated power and DSP electronics package. The VT4887ADP-CN is designed to deliver high-quality reinforcement of music and speech in a variety of applications including concert audio and corporate A/V presentations of all types for both portable users and fixed venue installations. The VT4887ADP-CN is an Ideal companion to VT4881A or VT4881ADP-AN compact sub-woofer systems.
Designed in cooperation with Harman Professional development partners Crown and dbx Professional, the DP-2 features patented high efficiency Class-I power amplifier technology from Crown and "smart" inboard DSP functionality that automatically performs self-test functions and communicates readiness and operational status of components and electronics.
The VT4887ADP-CN differs from the standard VT4887ADP in that it is fitted with the optional CN (CobraNet® audio) network input module. More information concerning CobraNet® may be found at www.peakaudio.com.
The VT4887ADP-CN module includes all of the features of the VT4887ADP-AN as well as integrating CobraNet transport in the same single 100Mb Ethernet connection. Signal routing is easily controlled via System Architect software. The VT4887ADP-CN also provides two analog audio inputs that can be configured as a redundant signal or for page-over applications. This feature saves audio bandwidth within the CobraNet network by providing local signal processing of the input signal at the DrivePack®.
