VT4888DP-CN

Overview:

The VT4888DP-CN is a CobraNet^® compatible self-powered, mid-size Integrated Audio System housing two 12" woofers, four 5.5" midrange radiators and two high frequency compression drivers. It is equipped with a JBL DrivePack^® DP-3 fully integrated power and DSP electronics package. The VT4888DP is designed to deliver high-quality reinforcement of music and speech in a variety of applications including concert audio and corporate A/V presentations of all types for both portable users and fixed venue installations. The VT4888DP-CN is an Ideal companion to VT4882 or VT4882DP-CN mid-size sub-woofer systems.

Designed in cooperation with Harman Professional development partner Crown International, the DP-3 features Crown's patented high efficiency Class-I power amplifier technology and "smart" inboard DSP functionality that automatically performs self-test functions and communicates readiness and operational status of components and electronics.

VT4888DP-CN differs from the VT4888DP-AN in that it is fitted with the optional CN (CobraNet^® audio) network input module. More information concerning CobraNet may be found at www.peakaudio.com.

The VT4888DP-CN module includes all of the features of the VT4888DP-AN as well as integrating CobraNet transport in the same single Ethernet connection. Signal routing is easily controlled via System Architect software. The VT4888DP-CN also provides two analog audio inputs that can be configured as a redundant signal or for page-over applications. This feature saves audio bandwidth within the CobraNet^® network by providing local signal processing of the input signal at the DrivePack^®.

• DPCN optional network input module provides CobraNet^® digital audio transport, standard 100Mb Ethernet networking in the same single CAT5/RJ45 cable connection. Two XLR connectors for analog audio input and loop-thru and RJ45 Primary/Secondary connectors for remote control and monitoring with Ethernet connectivity, and compatibility with Harman Professional’s HiQnet System Architect technology.
• Alt Preset Enable control located on the module front panel allows manual alternate preset selection.
• Integrated JBL DrivePack^® DP-3 electronics package delivers superb audio quality, comprehensive digital signal processing and a modular input bay that accepts the standard analog, or optional digital audio networked input module.
• World-wide AC line voltages are automatically selected for 50 or 60 Hz operation
• For use in stand-alone arrays or in combination with other VerTec system modules.
