VP7212/95DPCN

Overview:

The VP7212/95DPCN is a CobraNet^® compatible compact self-powered bi-amplified full-range 12" 2-way integrated loudspeaker system line fitted with a single 12” Differential Drive^® woofer and high frequency compression driver. The high frequency driver is coupled to a JBL PT-H95HF Progressive Transition (PT) Waveguide for excellent 90° x 50° pattern control, smooth frequency response, and low distortion. Easily rotated for horizontal or vertical system orientation. It is equipped with a JBL DrivePack^® DP2 fully integrated power and DSP electronics package. The Venue Performance Series is designed to deliver high-quality reinforcement of music and speech in a variety of applications including High-impact audio/visual presentations, Theatrical sound design, Houses of Worship, Sound reinforcement rental companies, Live performance venues, Performing arts centers, Corporate learning centers and Themed entertainment venues. The VP-DPCN is easily integrated into VERTEC Line Array designs and an ideal companion to VPSB7118DP, VPSB7118DPAN or VPSB7118DPCN compact sub-woofer systems.

Designed in cooperation with Harman Professional development partners Crown Int. and dbx Professional, the JBL DrivePack^® DP2 features patented high efficiency Class-I power amplifier technology from Crown and "smart" inboard DSP functionality that automatically performs self-test functions and communicates readiness and operational status of components and electronics.

The VP-DPCN differs from the standard VP-DP(dbx) in that it is fitted with the optional DPCN (CobraNet^® audio) network input module. More information concerning CobraNet^® may be found at www.peakaudio.com.

The VP-DPCN module includes all of the features of the DPAN as well as integrating CobraNet^® transport in the same single 100Mb Ethernet connection. Signal routing is easily controlled via Audio Architect software. The DPCN also provides two analog audio inputs that can be configured as a redundant signal or for page-over applications. This feature saves audio bandwidth within the CobraNet^® network by providing local signal processing of the input signal at the DrivePack^®.

Two XLR connectors for analog audio input and loop-thru and Primary/Secondary RJ45 connectors for remote control and monitoring with Ethernet connectivity, and compatibility with Harman Professional’s HiQnet Audio Architect technology.
• Alt Preset Enable control located on the module front panel allows manual alternate preset selection.
• Integrated JBL DrivePack^® DP2 electronics package delivers superb audio quality, comprehensive digital signal processing and a modular input bay that accepts the standard analog, or optional digital audio networked input module.
• World-wide AC line voltages are automatically selected for 50 or 60 Hz operation.
• Can be used stand-alone, in stand-alone arrays or in combination with other Venue Performance Series models or VerTec system modules.
