Factory Control panels are separate panels that are opened within a Device Panel. Not all of the items that display on the device panel can be modified; most of the individual icons on a device panel must be double clicked to open the factory control panel.
Some factory control panels can be converted to Custom Panels.

NOTE: A quick shortcut to add an exact copy of the control onto your venue is to right-click/hold the control, and drag it onto your venue.
