The purpose of the AVB Health Panel is to check the status of AVB devices and aid in troubleshooting.
The AVB Health Panel has two major components. This upper portion of the window displays the health and status information for each AVB enabled devices in the venue. The lower portion of the screen is dedicated to giving troubleshooting information regarding a selected device.
Grand Master: Displays which device is currently configured to be the master clock for the entire network. Generally, the Grand Master is the switch and can currently only be configured through the switch.
ID: Displays the HiQnet address assigned to every Harman Device.
Device Name: Displays the Device name. Clicking the icon to the right of the name will cause the Device Default Panel to be opened from this window.
Online: Indicates whether or not the device is online or not. A red exclamation point indicates that the unit is offline, a green check indicates that the unit is online.
AVB Link: Indicates whether or not the device is AVB capable. A red exclamation point indicates that the unit is not, a green check indicates that the unit is.
Network Sync: Indicates that a device is locked and synchronized with the Grand Master system clock.
Media Clock Master: Used to determine which device on the network has become the primary or secondary master clock (see MCM Clock Priority for more information).
Active Tx Streams: This indicates the percentage of bandwidth currently being consumed by the transmitting signals. This is based on the current implementation limit of 122 signals per Ethernet link.
Active Rx Streams: This indicates the percentage of bandwidth currently being consumed by the receiving channels. This is based on the current implementation limit of 122 channels per Ethernet link.
